A no frills fire intensive course for newcomers to fire. Flambeaux & Co. will get you accustomed to handling fire & anticipating it's behaviour with props and tools to hold your own at fire-art happenings, and & further learning. Fire basics, fire eating, fire safety, fire contact. as well as safety, production. This Spartan class gives you what you need, taught personally by Flambeaux.

This class takes beginners and relative newcomers through the entire trajectory to becoming self-sufficient fire performers. Students will be instructed on performance skills in Flambeaux’s signature Fire-Theater style, critical practices, fire safety, Industry tools, production/self-production, group act building, as well as the art & ethos of fire. It includes video recording and the creatioon of a stage-ready, full, 5 minute group act to be presented at Paradigm productions (schedule permitting).

Taught by Flambeaux himself, this intensive course is for intermediate and advanced fire performers developing original acts and working toward professional performance. The course provides individual mentorship focused on each performer’s style, performance voice, and creative vision, using their existing skills and interests as a starting point. Students develop acts across theatrical, circus, dance, skill-based, festival, immersive, and stage performance, working with concept, character, choreography, movement, narrative, theatricality, production, and safety. The course culminates in a fully staged public showcase at Paradigm Theatre, where students present their completed acts to a live audience.

Exploration & development of the martial art rope dart, through the lens of fire flow arts. World Champion Frank Hatsis, author of 'Traditional and Modern Rope Dart' and head of 'Ropedart Academy' grows your ninja abilities and supercharges them with FIRE. Each c lass 2 hours with the master and supervised by Flambeaux Fire.

Charlie Zardoz and Kavan O'Toole bring fire-breathers up to the 'circus-pro' level. Moving sustains, theatrical fire-breathing expresssion, spins, bends, directional shapes and breath passes. There is even an add-on class for those who wish to learn 'cornstarch fire-breathing'

Fire Clowning & Cabaret blends theatrical fire performance with physical comedy, character work, and absurd stagecraft. Students will explore how humor, timing, audience interaction, and playful mishaps can be combined with fire skills to create memorable acts that are are equal parts ridicule, spectacle, chaos, and performance art. There will be a brief intermission between classes.
